SUBACUTE CARE CRITERIA

VitalCare America units specialize in caring for patients who have:

• Multiple trauma, including Head and/or Spinal Cord Injury
• Degenerative Diseases:
  • Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Muscular Dystrophy
• Post-Surgical Orthopedic Skilled Care needs and as such may require:
  • Respiratory Support, including Ventilator Dependency
  • Tracheostomies and/or Feeding Tubes
  • Pre- and Post-Rehabilitation needs, including:
    • Occupational Therapy
    • Physical Therapy
    • Sensory Stimulation Speech Therapy
    • Wound Care
